Cheltenham Festival Tips
Day 2/3 saw us follow up our success on day one with tips for Master Minded and Inglis Drever, So lets see if we can get you a couple on day 4.
The David Nicholson Mares Hurdle gets us underway on the final day and we are going for the Nicky Henderson trained Chomba Womba, we always thought this was Mick Fitzgerald's best ride of the meeting and it looks as if we were right.
The Ballymore Properties Hurdle is ultra competitive and we are going to side with the Wille Mullins Fiveforthree to give Willie his second winner at the festival.
The Coral Cup is is the most competitive race of the festival and we are going against Leg Spinner and putting up Phyleigh Lady for the Philip Hobbs stable at a decent price.
The Triumph Hurdle is a one horse race and Franchoek will win.
The Albert Bartlett Hurdle is very open and we will have a little each way punt on the Paul Nicholls second string What A friend as at the end of this day we may just need one.
The Gold Cup Finally D Day but we have this in the bag Kauto for us every time.
The Foxhunters Chase we like the Waley-Cohen's Mel in Blue in this one as they love to have a Cheltenham winner.
The Grand Annual is the race Nicky Henderson wants to win each year as it is named after his father and so we have to have an each way punt on Crozan.
The County Hurdle is the final race for 2008 and it would be nice to go out with a winner to tide us over for the next 365 days and Freeloader is our each way tip here.
Cheltenham Festival tips are worthless if your selections are sketchy jumpers as having watched races at Cheltenham for quite some time you will see time and time again that horses who jump badly will mess up at a crucial time in Cheltenham Races and especially at the third last over the chase course, which is on the downhill and the horses are at full pelt and this is without doubt the most difficult fence on the course and the next Cheltenham tip is to select an experienced jockey as you will notice that they take a pull just coming to this fence. With the racing at its most competitive should you take this advice you may just come up with a few winners that will make your Cheltenham betting all the more profitable.
