
The David Nicholson Mares race was introduced for the 2008 Cheltenham festival. This race now offers Cheltenham Gold Cup day a seven race card. This Mares race is for 4 year olds plus and the first winner of it was 5 years of age. This races looks a good addition to the festival allowing Mares an opportunity to run against their own gender.
