The final day of the Cheltenham Festival gets underway with the grade one Triumph Hurdle. In recent years the field size has been reduced as this race traditionally has a field of 28 going to post. Since the introduction of the alternative handicap for juveniles in the form of the Fred Winter Hurdle has resulted in the field size. In 2008 and 2006 the field size has been in the mid teens and this has led to a better quality of horses lining up.
This is one of the most active Cheltenham Festival ante post betting markets as the juvenile hurdlers are emerging throughout the National Hunt season and the best of them rise to the top in the betting market and you can check out all the market moves on our odds comparison charts.
